Our Story
Established in 2000 in Round Lake Park, Illinois, Mano a Mano Family Resource Center emerged from a collaboration of local legislators, community leaders, and law enforcement. Recognizing the urgent need for culturally and linguistically relevant services for the growing immigrant community, Mano a Mano has evolved from a small storefront to a vital resource center serving over 10,000 individuals annually. With a satellite location in North Chicago, it stands as the only immigrant-serving agency in Lake and McHenry Counties, offering a comprehensive range of health, educational, and legal services.
