The Manna House Pantry
EIN: 82-2041229 · Rock Hill, SC
Our Story
Founded in 2006 by Mt. Prospect Baptist Church, The Manna House Pantry began as a clothing ministry but quickly evolved to address the pressing need for food assistance. As demand grew, nutritious food options were sourced from local retailers and supported by generous donations from Covenant Presbyterian Church and Food Lion. In 2014, a partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank Metrolina enabled the pantry to offer fresh produce, meat, and canned goods. By 2017, The Manna House Pantry became an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, further expanding its reach. In collaboration with Pathways Community Center, the pantry now operates from a 6000 square foot facility, serving the community more effectively than ever.
Impact
In 2023 alone, The Manna House Pantry distributed an impressive 99,000 pounds of food, becoming a vital resource for thousands of families in need.
