Our Story
In 1974, a dedicated group of women from the Manatee United Methodist Church came together to save historic buildings from demolition. This initiative led to the establishment of the Manatee Village Historical Park, which opened its doors on July 4, 1976. Today, the park features fourteen structures that showcase the pioneer life of Manatee County, all made possible through generous donations and community involvement.
