Our Story

Spearheaded in 1967 by Ida Stewart and Sarah Tomberlin, the Manatee County Girls Club was established to provide local girls with an educational program tailored to their unique needs. Over the years, the organization has flourished, opening additional centers and launching various educational initiatives, including the Just for Girls Alternative Education Program.
