Our Story

Founded in 2004 by Andre T. Mitchell-Mann, Man Up! Inc. emerged from the tragic killing of 8-year-old Daesean Hill in East New York. This organization serves urban neighborhoods through a multi-cultural approach, focusing on violence prevention, youth services, and community empowerment. With over 15 years of experience in various non-profits and a significant role in city government, Mitchell-Mann's leadership has been pivotal in shaping community safety initiatives.
