MAMA Project
EIN: 23-2993647 · Pennsburg, PA
Our Story
In the early 1980s, Ruth, a Wheaton College student, returned from Central America with stories of suffering in Honduras. Inspired by her experiences, she and her sister, a physician, began to explore ways to help those in need. This led to the formation of MAMA Project in 1987, focusing on health and wholeness through partnerships and science-based interventions.
Impact
MAMA Project has transformed the lives of thousands in South Sudan and Honduras by providing emergency food relief, clean water solutions, and essential medical services. These efforts have significantly improved health conditions and advocated for the rights of the impoverished.
