Our Story

Make Austin Clean is a dedicated nonprofit organization founded by Cary Capece, focused on maintaining the beauty of Austin. By encouraging community involvement in cleaning neighborhoods, the organization believes that if every resident committed to picking up trash just once a week, it could significantly reduce litter across the city.

Impact

As of November 2024, Make Austin Clean has successfully collected 17.04 tons of trash and litter from Austin's streets, creeks, and parks, contributing to a cleaner environment and community.
