Empowering Immigrants in Maine

The Maine Association for New Americans (MANA) was founded in 2012 with a vision to empower immigrants in Maine. Initially focused on uniting professionals and leaders from diverse backgrounds, MANA has evolved to address trauma and toxic stress among immigrants and their families. In 2019, the board made a pivotal decision to concentrate on mental health awareness, leading to the development of multilingual and multicultural programming.

Impacting Lives Through Support

MANA promotes social and personal empowerment of immigrants, addressing racial equity and health disparities in Maine. By connecting immigrants with peers and resources, MANA fosters resilience and community.
