Main South CDC

Our Story

The Main South Community Development Corporation was established in 1986 in response to the pressing concerns of residents regarding economic decline and the lack of affordable housing in the Main South neighborhood. Over the years, the organization has evolved, successfully translating community priorities into sustainable change. With a commitment to enhancing the quality of life, Main South CDC has developed 400 housing units and sold 71 homes to first-time buyers, while managing approximately 250 affordable rental units.
