Our Story

Main Line Meals on Wheels was founded in 1972 by Elaine Belmonte and a dedicated committee to meet the needs of homebound individuals in the community. From serving just 24 patrons on its first day, the organization has grown to deliver over 3.2 million meals to 124 patrons currently, adapting its services to meet the changing needs of clients.

Delivering two nutritious meals Monday through Friday, Main Line Meals on Wheels ensures that no one goes hungry. Each meal delivery also includes a friendly visit, fostering a sense of community and support for those in need.
