Our Story

In the late 1950s, the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church recognized the urgent need for safe and secure housing for the elderly. This led to the establishment of Magnolia Manor, a ministry dedicated to providing long-term care for older adults. Inspired by the vision of Kate Witte, who bequeathed 392 acres for this purpose, Magnolia Manor opened its doors in 1963 and has since become a leader in retirement living.

With multiple locations across Georgia, the organization serves nearly 1,500 individuals, ensuring that everyone receives the care they deserve.
