Our Story

Magdalene Omaha is a dedicated community of survivors of sexual violence and allies, committed to providing individualized support for survivors of sex trafficking. Founded in 2016, this organization is modeled after the successful Thistle Farms in Nashville, which has nearly 30 years of experience in supporting survivors. Over the years, Magdalene Omaha has expanded its programs and services to help survivors rebuild their lives and find the community support they need.

Through its comprehensive support system, Magdalene Omaha has successfully assisted numerous survivors in achieving freedom from violence, trauma, and addiction. The recent opening of the Magdalene Omaha Community Center in 2023 marks a significant milestone in enhancing the services available to local survivors.
