The Madison Fireworks Organization, Inc. was founded in 2002 to ensure the continuation of Madison, Connecticut’s cherished Independence Day fireworks display. In the wake of September 11, 2001, the community recognized the importance of celebrating freedom and unity. A dedicated group of volunteers established MFO as a non-profit organization, achieving 501(c)(3) status to collect private donations and fund this beloved event.
Since its inception, MFO has successfully maintained the tradition of the Independence Day fireworks, fostering community spirit and patriotism.
