Our Story
Established in 2019 by the Santa Rosa City Schools District Board of Trustees, the Made in Santa Rosa Education Foundation was created to support schools and students through essential funding for enrichment activities, supplies, and resources. This initiative arose from undesignated donations following the 2017 Tubbs Fire, highlighting the need for equitable resource distribution among students. The foundation received its 501(c)(3) designation in late 2020 and has since focused on addressing the needs of K-8 students in Santa Rosa.
Our Impact
Since March 2022, the foundation has provided grants to eight elementary schools, one middle school, and one Pre-K special education school, positively impacting approximately 3,500 students. By closing opportunity and achievement gaps, the foundation ensures equitable access to vital enrichment programs and resources.
