Our Story

Retirement Housing Foundation (RHF) began with a modest investment of $7,000 and has grown into one of the largest providers of affordable housing and services in the United States. With 198 communities across 29 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, RHF serves over 19,000 older adults, low-income families, and persons with disabilities.
