Founded in 1990 by a passionate group including Diane Hopkins and the Evans family, M.A.R.E. Riding Center was established to provide therapeutic riding programs for special needs children and adults in Kern County. With the help of a wonderful Arabian mare named Tana, M.A.R.E. aims to offer freedom of movement and judgment-free experiences through equine-assisted therapies.
M.A.R.E. provides therapeutic equine-assisted activities that enhance the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being of individuals with disabilities, allowing them to experience the joy of horsemanship.
