Our Story

The Lynne Cohen Foundation was established in memory of Lynne Cohen, a devoted mother who faced the challenges of ovarian cancer. After her diagnosis, it became clear that there was a significant lack of resources dedicated to early detection and prevention. In 1998, her children founded this organization to honor her legacy and provide vital support to women at risk of ovarian and breast cancer.

Impact

Over the years, the foundation has provided free testing and clinical services to thousands of at-risk women, particularly in marginalized BIPOC communities, significantly increasing access to preventive care and education.
