Inspired by Paul Lam, who rallied community support after losing his garden, this nonprofit has transformed an abandoned farm into a thriving hub of empowerment for individuals with disabilities since 2003.
In 2020 alone, Lynchburg Grows donated over 18,000 servings of fresh produce, addressing food insecurity and supporting community health. Through programs like FreshRx, the organization delivers nutrition education and fresh produce to patients with diet-related illnesses, ensuring that healthy food is accessible to all.
