The LYN Fund was founded by Winna Morrin, Erica Lynford, and Joanne Krapf after a community rallied to support a friend diagnosed with breast cancer. Recognizing the financial strain faced by patients in Pinellas and Pasco counties, Florida, the organization was established to provide crucial financial assistance to those battling women's cancers. The founders were inspired by the struggles of friends who faced cancer diagnoses, leading to the creation of a support system for individuals during their treatment and recovery.

To date, the LYN Fund has assisted 165 patients, alleviating financial stress and allowing them to focus on their recovery.
