Founded by Dr. Amira Mohammed, a dedicated Physical Therapist and Lymphedema advocate, Lymphira Inc. was established to address the significant gap in care for lymphedema patients in Northwest Indiana. With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Mohammed witnessed firsthand the struggles faced by patients who often navigated a complex and frustrating healthcare system. Many patients were misdiagnosed or faced delays in receiving appropriate care, leading to chronic conditions and diminished quality of life.

Lymphira aims to change this narrative by raising awareness about lymphedema, educating healthcare professionals, and providing essential resources for early diagnosis and intervention.
