Lutheran Border Concerns Ministry was founded in the 1950s by compassionate Lutherans in San Diego who recognized the urgent need to assist their neighbors in Tijuana, Mexico. Initially focused on sharing food with the poorest, LBCM incorporated in 1967 to expand its mission of providing both spiritual and material support.
Each year, LBCM delivers over half a million dollars in essential resources, including food, educational materials, clothing, and medicines, transforming countless lives in the community.
