Lunches of Love began as a ministry of First United Methodist Church Rosenberg during Christmas break 2009, feeding approximately 150 children. By 2012, it evolved into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, now serving over 4,000 children across 18 LCISD schools and 3 FBISD schools. The mission is clear: to combat childhood hunger in Fort Bend County by providing free nutritious lunches during extended school holidays and weekends.
On July 21, 2021, Lunches of Love proudly distributed its four millionth free lunch, highlighting its significant role in addressing childhood hunger in the community.
