Our Story

The Luke Clinic was founded in 2016 by a compassionate team, including a Lutheran Pastor and pharmacist, a labor and delivery nurse, a family medicine doctor, and a business professional. They identified a significant gap in accessible prenatal care for underserved communities in Detroit, despite the city's healthcare resources. The clinic began as a volunteer-run initiative in a two-room facility within the Family of God Mission Church, quickly becoming a trusted destination for expectant mothers lacking care. Today, The Luke Clinic proudly serves families across the Detroit and Flint metro areas.
