Our Story

Lubbock Meals on Wheels, Inc. began in 1971 with a dedicated group of board members, staff, and volunteers. Starting with just 29 recipients, the organization has grown significantly, now serving over 1,000 meals daily to the homebound, elderly, and disabled in Lubbock and Wolfforth. With the support of over 1,600 volunteers, LMOW has expanded its services to include a Pet Food Program and breakfast meal deliveries, ensuring that clients receive not only nourishment but also companionship.
