The Lincoln Park Music Center, founded by Miss Whe Do Kim in 1985, has dedicated over 30 years to nurturing the artistic talents of piano students in Chicago. Starting from the age of 5 or 6, students engage in rigorous classical piano instruction that emphasizes diligence and dedication. The LPMC approach not only focuses on musical excellence but also fosters character development through various performing opportunities, including concerts, recitals, and community outreach.
With a vision to raise a $1 million endowment, LPMC aims to provide at least $50,000 annually to aligned organizations. As a volunteer-driven, student-managed organization, LPMC maintains low operating expenses to maximize its impact on the community.
