Lower Shore Land Trust is a nationally accredited nonprofit founded in 1990, committed to protecting and restoring natural resources, wildlife habitat, and working lands in Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties. By collaborating with landowners, the organization ensures the preservation of the natural heritage of their properties for future generations.

Impact

With over 30 years of dedication, Lower Shore Land Trust has successfully preserved more than 24,000 acres of land across over 135 private properties, significantly contributing to wildlife habitat conservation and water quality maintenance in the region.
