Our Story

Lower Lights Health is a Christian-based, Federally Qualified Health Center dedicated to providing high-quality health care to all individuals, regardless of their ability to pay. Founded in 2002 by Dr. Dana Vallangeon in Franklinton, this nonprofit has grown to serve over 15,000 patients across seven locations in central Ohio.

Lower Lights Health addresses the equity gap in access to quality health care for marginalized populations. With comprehensive services including primary care, behavioral health, and spiritual care, the organization serves approximately 14,000 patients, improving health outcomes through preventative care and chronic illness management.
