Lower Columbia School Gardens connects children and families with real food and hands-on learning experiences. Since 2009, LCSG has expanded its impact by establishing thriving gardens in 19 elementary and middle schools across Longview and Kelso. Each week, dedicated educators, students, parents, and volunteers come together to cultivate health, equity, and stewardship of the environment.

Making a Lasting Impact

Every year, over 4,000 students participate in engaging cooking, science, and nutrition activities in the School Gardens. With the support of more than 450 volunteers contributing over 5,000 hours, LCSG continues to grow and thrive.
