Discover the Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council
The Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council (LARAC) was founded in 1972 to unify the arts community and establish a vibrant cultural identity for the region. Located in a beautifully restored Victorian carriage house in downtown Glens Falls, NY, LARAC is dedicated to supporting local artistic traditions while inspiring the community's vision of art and its contributions to our lives.
Impacting the Community Through the Arts
Over the past three years, LARAC has distributed $250,000 in grant dollars to artists and organizations in Warren and Washington Counties, in partnership with the New York State Council on the Arts. More than 50,000 community members of all ages have engaged with the arts through workshops, gallery exhibits, festivals, and community arts grants, showcasing the work of over 2,000 artists each year.
Why Donate to LARAC?
Supporting LARAC means investing in the local and regional economies through the promotion of arts and culture. As a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible charity, all contributions are tax-deductible.
