The Lowcountry Wind Symphony was formed in 2014 by a dedicated group of musicians aiming to enrich the community with quality musical experiences. Since its first public performance in 2015, LWS has grown into a vibrant, all-volunteer wind band, committed to delivering free concerts throughout the Lowcountry.
Since its inception, LWS has provided free musical entertainment and awarded over $6,000 in scholarships to high school graduates pursuing music majors, fostering the next generation of musicians.
