Our Story

The Loving Libbie Memorial Foundation was established in 2006 in memory of Libbie, a brave little girl who lost her battle with leukemia at just five years old. Her mother, Becky Nichols, created this foundation to honor Libbie's memory by supporting families facing similar challenges. The foundation's flagship program, Comfort Through Food, is the only initiative in Central Texas dedicated to providing pediatric cancer patients with comforting meals during their treatment. This program fills a crucial gap, ensuring that children receive not only nutritional support but also a sense of normalcy during their toughest times.

Impact

Since its inception, the Loving Libbie Memorial Foundation has delivered over 20,000 servings of comforting meals, such as macaroni & cheese and chicken and dumplings, to children battling cancer and life-threatening illnesses in Central Texas. This initiative has provided essential nutritional support and comfort to young fighters during their treatment journeys.
