Our Story

The Loveland Foundation was founded in 2018 by Rachel Cargle, inspired by a successful birthday fundraiser that raised over $250,000. This initiative enabled Black women and girls across the nation to access vital therapy support. The foundation is dedicated to fostering opportunity and healing in communities of color, particularly for Black women and girls, through various programs including fellowships, residency initiatives, and listening tours.

Impact

Since its inception, The Loveland Foundation has made significant strides in supporting Black women, girls, and nonbinary individuals through the Loveland Therapy Fund. This includes providing therapy vouchers, organizing quarterly support groups, and offering workshops and wellness resources.
