Love In Action International Ministries

Our Story

Founded by Gary and Jerri Zimmerman, Love In Action International Ministries has been dedicated to overseas missions since 1974. Established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 1998, the organization focuses on building orphanages in Latin America. The first orphanage, Andrea’s Home of Hope and Joy, opened in 2008 in Guayaramerín, Bolivia, honoring their daughter Andrea's memory. The mission is to rescue orphaned, abandoned, and abused children, providing them with a loving home and education to impact their world for God's Kingdom.

Impact

Love In Action International Ministries has rescued and cared for nearly 100 children at Andrea's Home of Hope and Joy. The organization offers a nurturing family environment and education, while also establishing businesses to help older children learn marketable skills, ensuring the orphanage's sustainability.
