Our Story

Love and Hope Ministries was founded by Gloria and Dr. Jabez, who were called to serve the marginalized and needy in society. Gloria fled Haiti in 1992 due to civil unrest, while Dr. Jabez migrated from India in 1993 to pursue his calling. Their paths crossed at Zion Bible Institute, leading to their marriage in 1998. After years of study, Dr. Jabez returned to India in 2003, where he felt a divine calling to help those suffering from poverty and neglect.

Inspired by Matthew 9:36, Dr. Jabez witnessed the plight of children, widows, and pastors in need. With just six dollars, they launched Love and Hope Ministries, driven by faith and a commitment to serve. Over the past 18 years, the organization has grown, providing essential support to those in need in Haiti and India.

Our Impact

Love and Hope Ministries focuses on delivering basic necessities such as food and toiletries to vulnerable populations, particularly in Haiti, where gang violence and government instability have exacerbated the humanitarian crisis. The organization has a proven track record of sustaining its mission through community support and unwavering faith.
