Our Story

The Louisville Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (LEJATC) was established in November 1956 through a partnership between the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 369 and the Louisville Electrical Contractors Association. Over the years, the program has evolved to meet the changing demands of the electrical industry, now serving 69 counties in Kentucky and 7 in Southern Indiana. Each year, LEJATC trains over 400 apprentices, ensuring they are equipped with the skills needed for a successful career.

Impact

With a commitment to excellence, LEJATC provides essential training that leads to financially stable families and thriving communities. The organization has expanded its facilities and curriculum to include emerging technologies, preparing graduates for the future of the electrical industry.
