Founded in 1955 by a group of dedicated parents, the Louise W. Eggleston Center began as the Tidewater Vocational Center, aiming to provide meaningful daytime activities for adults with disabilities. Over the decades, it has evolved to offer comprehensive training and employment opportunities, significantly impacting the lives of individuals and families in the Hampton Roads community.
