Our Story

Founded in 1993 by Khyentse Norbu in Himachal Pradesh, India, Lotus Outreach began its journey by serving refugees from Nepal. A transformative experience at a safe house orphanage in Cambodia ignited a passion for empowering women and children in need. Today, Lotus Outreach operates in seven countries, including the USA, Canada, and the UK, positively impacting hundreds of thousands of lives over three decades.
