Founded in 2004 by Artistic Directors Thordal Christensen and Colleen Neary, Los Angeles Ballet debuted in December 2006 with its original production of The Nutcracker. The company is dedicated to preserving the art of ballet through Balanchine masterpieces and Bournonville ballets, while also embracing new works and community outreach.
LAB’s Power of Performance! (POP!) outreach program has provided over 50,000 free tickets to underserved and disadvantaged children, seniors, veterans, and their families, fostering community engagement and access to the arts.
