The Lord Is My Help

Our Story

Founded in 1983 by Kay Woods, The Lord Is My Help began as a small initiative to provide meals to those in need. With a dedicated team of volunteers, the organization has expanded from serving 400 meals a month to over 5,200 meals monthly as of 2020. Kay's legacy of compassion continues to inspire the community.

Impact on the Community

Currently, the organization serves 150 meals daily, with around 100 meals delivered to home-bound citizens, addressing hunger issues in Jackson County.
