Our Story

In 1969, lacrosse was introduced to Longmeadow High School by UMass Men’s Lacrosse coach Dick Garber. This initiative, sparked by science teacher Bill McCullough, led to the formation of a boys' lacrosse club and the establishment of a varsity team in 1970. Since then, the team has built a legacy of success, winning multiple state championships and nurturing All-American players.

Impact

Longmeadow lacrosse boasts a rich history, marked by numerous state championships and a dedicated community. The program has produced talented athletes who have excelled at the collegiate level, significantly contributing to the growth of lacrosse in Massachusetts.
