Our Story
Established in 1956, the Long Island Council on Alcoholism & Drug Dependence (LICADD) is a pioneering nonprofit health agency dedicated to addressing alcoholism and drug addictions. Open Arms EAP was created to support employees and their families facing substance use challenges.
Our Impact
In 2020, LICADD provided clinical and EAP services through a hotline, reaching individuals, groups, families, and organizations. Over 7,500 community members benefited from our education and training sessions.
