About Long Island Children's Museum
The Long Island Children's Museum was born from a simple dinner conversation in 1989 among a group of passionate educators, artists, and parents. They envisioned a vibrant space for children to explore, learn, and grow, leading to the museum's opening in November 1993. Today, it features 14 interactive exhibit galleries, a theater, and a variety of educational programs that engage young minds.
