Our Story

Founded in 1956 by Audrey Share, the Long Beach Ballet Arts Center has a rich history of training dancers in Southern California. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and the community through the beauty of classical ballet.

Impact

With over 300 students, the Long Beach Ballet has successfully trained dancers who have competed internationally, received scholarships, and joined major ballet companies. The organization has shown resilience by adapting to challenges, such as providing virtual classes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
