Established in Lake Charles, Louisiana, in 2017, the Local Heart Foundation has been a beacon of hope for hundreds of pediatric heart patients seeking optimal care at out-of-state cardiovascular surgical centers. Co-founders Tim and Tammy Andreas, inspired by their own life-changing experience, recognized the financial burdens families face during these critical moments. After Tim's urgent heart surgery in Houston, they committed to alleviating the emotional and financial strains on families navigating similar journeys.
