Our Story
Since 1983, Loaves and Fishes of Contra Costa has been dedicated to serving the hungry in our community. With the help of our devoted volunteers, over 5 million meals have been provided to those in need, ensuring that no one goes hungry.
Impact
In response to the growing need, meal service increased by 62% from April to June 2020, with over 2,300 meals served daily. A new dining room in Walnut Creek was opened in partnership with Trinity Center to further support our mission.
