About Livingston Land Conservancy

Founded in 1991, the Livingston Land Conservancy began as a committee of the Southeast Michigan Land Conservancy. In 2001, it became an independent 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving the natural heritage and rural character of the Greater Livingston County area. Through ownership of nature preserves and conservation easements, the Conservancy ensures that vital natural areas and productive farmland are protected from development.

Impact of the Conservancy

The Conservancy's efforts lead to the preservation of quality natural areas, promoting environmental appreciation and understanding for the long-term benefit of the public.
