Our Story
Established in 1968 by the Junior League of Lexington, the Living Arts & Science Center (LASC) has become a cornerstone of cultural education in Central Kentucky. With a mission to provide innovative educational programs that blend the arts and sciences, LASC reaches over 45,000 individuals annually. The center offers a diverse range of hands-on learning experiences, from cooking and pottery to astronomy and digital painting, ensuring that creativity flourishes in every participant.
