Our Story

What began as a community project to revitalize the historic Prices Fork Elementary School in 2012 has flourished into Live Work Eat Grow. This transformation includes mixed-income apartments, an independently owned restaurant, a local brewery, and a shared-use kitchen, all contributing to economic growth and community revitalization.

Our Impact

Live Work Eat Grow operates as a 501c3 nonprofit, fostering small food businesses and supporting food security initiatives. With 15 small businesses at Millstone Kitchen, 13,132 meals served to neighbors in need, and 109 community garden plots, the organization is making a significant difference in the New River Valley.
