Founded in 2017 by Coach Jay Reyes, Live Oak Wrestling Club (LOWC) was established to provide students in the Santa Cruz area with year-round opportunities to engage in wrestling. Coach Reyes, a passionate educator and coach, has a rich history in the sport, having started wrestling in middle school and continuing through college. His vision for LOWC is to help young athletes not only excel in wrestling but also to develop strength and confidence that transcends the mat.
