Live Like Sam Foundation

Our Story

Live Like Sam Foundation was established by Ron and Skylar Jackenthal in memory of Sam Jackenthal, who tragically lost his life in a skiing accident in Australia in 2015. This foundation honors Sam's legacy by empowering youth from diverse backgrounds to cultivate self-awareness, courage, leadership, kindness, and joy through comprehensive life-skills training and character development.

Impact on Youth

Each year, Live Like Sam positively impacts over 4,000 students in Summit County, with aspirations to reach all 14,000+ students across the Wasatch Back. The foundation offers free, evidence-based mental wellness programming to address the pressing youth mental health crisis in the region.
